Struggle of a PCOS fighter

What other people doesn't know, is that I have been battling with a certain disorder that even doctors does not have a concrete way to eliminate it.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) since 2008. I have been taking several medications, herbals, and pills.

Around 2009, I have undergone an operation for a dermoid ovarian cyst to be removed. It was successful but still, my ovaries remained polycystic.

I haven't put much attention to it since I do not have any plans of getting pregnant yet at that time. My lifestyle, I would say has not been that healthy. Too much junk foods, fast food restos, bars, lack of sleep, too much sugar, easy open can and zero exercise. I, however, prayed for healing. I even asked several prayer warriors to pray for me.

In 2014, I quit my job from a BPO company then started homebase. I started travelling, joining fun runs, jogging and taking in lesser sugar, less stress. Since coffee is too bitter without sugar, I opted for tea. By the way, we don't have sugar at home, hahaha. Softdrinks are not allowed at home as well. But we treat ourselves once in two weeks time.

A friend talk me over using fish oil so I have been constantly taking it once a day. Anyway, taking Omega 3 does not hurt. I also bought a miracle cream as they call it, and use it before hitting the bed. In addition, I took time to study whats and what-nots of PCOS.

Fast forward 2017, my partner and I discussed about having a baby. All at once, I went to an OB-Gyne, provided all the details and asked me to have an ultrasound. The ultrasound was performed last wednesday, November 22, 2017. The result was positive. Aside from having a retroverted uterus, my ovaries were clear.

I AM PCOS FREE!!

I thank God for healing me.

Let me end this with the words from my favorite movie "Life of Pi":
