Senate Building for Rent

Whew. All the while I thought that the building was owned by the government. So if the government can afford such amount for rental, can't they afford to build a building of their own since we are talking about big cash out here. In my own opinion, with that amount being cashed out every year, they should have saved it by constructing one.

They are thinking of having the post office rented to foreign nationals. Why not use it as a Senate building instead?

Excuse me!

First of all, the Post office building is not too big dahil pag nagbangayan kayo, it will become smaller than you know. The building became useless, nobody is using it but you don't want to use it because of flood?

So you are aware that it get's flooded but is not doing anything about it?

"pwede naman ayusin yan di ba?"

At least you will be able to contribute something to your people.

I hate to say this but I think these officials are just looking for easy way out and that they always prefer their own convenience.

You have people under your care and governance.

For once, please stop thinking about what you can put inside your pocket, stop being a politician and start being a government official.

Or do I smell "money-inside-a-politician's-pocket" here?
